Isaiah: The Gospel of the Kingdom

Of all the prophets of scripture, perhaps no other so fully understood through personal revelation and encounter a more complete vision of the person and mission of the Messiah than the prophet Isaiah.  His message is filled with many of the most famous and cherished passages of scripture.  Those passages, however, are rarely quoted, taught, or understood in their proper context or treated with the comprehensive detail they deserve.  Our in-depth, collaborative study of the prophecy of Isaiah will not only introduce you to the prophet and engage you in the extraordinary relevance of his times, it may well reveal to you (even as it did to the prophet himself) the Jesus you only thought you knew.

This course is offered on Sunday mornings at 9:00am.

Youth Equipping: The Commands of Christ
The theme of all Scripture is to love God with all of our hearts and to love one another (see Matthew 22:40 and John 13:34). But how do we love God? And how do we know that we are loving our neighbor? Christ’s commands precisely reveal how we should love our neighbor. They are also the secret to loving God: “He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father…” (John 14:21).
